Too much on the plate.
It has been a few weeks since I posted here.
Not because I ran out of things to say. That would be concerning. 😂
Life simply got loud.
There was family stuff. My aunt. My mom. House things. Stress coming from several directions at once. The kind of season where even small tasks start looking at you like, “You forgot about me too.”
And somewhere in the middle of all that, blogging moved to the bottom of the list.
At first, part of me wanted to feel guilty about that.
Then I remembered something I teach all the time:
When everything matters, you still have to choose what matters most right now.
So I did.
I spent time with family.
I walked.
I hugged trees. Yes, literally. No, I do not care how that sounds. 😂
I read a completely distracting book that had absolutely nothing to do with personal growth, health, business, neuroscience, or becoming a better human.
Highly recommend.
I gave my nervous system fewer things to solve.
And I let some things wait.
That was the lesson.
Stress does not always need another strategy.
Sometimes it needs less.
Less input.
Less pressure.
Less proving.
Less trying to keep every plate spinning at the same speed.
There are seasons when productivity is the priority.
And there are seasons when presence is.
The trick is knowing the difference.
I could have pushed through, kept posting, kept producing, kept pretending I had room for everything.
But that would have meant ignoring what I actually valued in the moment.
And that is exactly the kind of pattern I am trying not to live anymore.
So, excuse my absence.
I was practicing what I preach.
And now, I’m back.
